Endertoys review

Endertoys is a company that sells many off-branded Minecraft figurines, including those of popular YouTubers like Stampy, DanTDM, and even Dream. They also sell customizable figures, where you upload a Minecraft skin and they put it on a blank model. In total I found two good-ish reviews on these figurines, and they were both a little misleading. A lot of reviews are outdated as well, being from 9+ years ago. So, I figured I'd give my thoughts.

First of all, a lot of reviews will call these papercraft, they are NOT papercraft. They're plastic. A lot of reviews also say that the design is printed on, which it is NOT. Endertoys takes a blank base, then they print out the skin texture (modified I assume) on STICKER PAPER, then stick it onto the model.

Now onto my thoughts. The shipping is free in the U.S., and the price is a decent $15, so the pricing is very nice! With most custom items the price can go upwards of $20, so this was a pleasant surprise!
The figurine is VERY stiff out of the package, but with a little but of movement it loosens up. The legs, however, pop off VERY easily. The rest of the body, though, is stuck on very well.
The stickers don't fit onto the model perfectly, which leaves little black gaps, but from afar those are ignorable. I will also say that the stickers are one pixel off, which is a little frustrating, but that's not the end of the world for a figure that's going to be staying on my shelf. The stickers also are beginning to peel slightly at the corners, which comes with the fact that they have such sharp edges. These are definitely not optimal for play, and aren't good as toys, but rather decoration.
The colors are actually very close to the real deal, which is good. The only issue is the red looks a little bit orange, but that might just be me being bad at coloring and not on them at all.
Issues aside though, it is very good quality, it's very durable (I threw it across the room and it was fine), and it will make for good shelf decor!

One note, these figurines are very large, bigger than the official Minecraft toys. The official ones are roughly 3 inches tall, whereas Endertoys figurines are 5 inches tall. Don't expect these to be perfect with your official Minecraft set, because your custom fella WILL tower over Steve.

I will also say, the joint in between the legs looks like a fat cock. I showed my mom and even she said it "looks like a big ol' boner".

RedBubble shirt review
Current mood:  happy

So recently I bought a shirt from RedBubble, and I've gotta say, it's pretty damn great.
First of all, the design is printed on very well. Although, do be warned, the way that they print it means it's prone to chipping. Despite what some reviews say, the design is also on straight and centered, but even if it wasn't, shirts move with you and it shouldn't be too visible when worn.
As for the shirt itself, it's made of heavy cotton according to the tag, and thus it is very comfortable if not a little bit scratchy. Don't expect a soft smooth T-shirt from RedBubble, because that's not what you're gonna get. You will get something itchy, and you've gotta make peace with that. Luckily, I have. I prefer heavier cotton anyways, it feels (and is) more durable.
RedBubble also has a very pleasant way of shipping things. The order came in a week, as per usual, and arrived in very good quality packaging. They also send you a free RedBubble brand sticker, which I have at least three of now.
I've bought a lot of things from RedBubble before, and every single time it's been a wonderful experience, this time included.

My thoughts on DNIs and the culture surrounding them
Current mood:  frustrated

For a bit of context, I've been on many different corners of the internet. I manage to wriggle my way in everywhere (aside from maybe 4chan, that's one I'll never go on), and something I've noticed on everything but Reddit and YouTube is that people have these huge DNI lists.
I think that's f***ing stupid.

First of all, what is a DNI?
A DNI is a "do not interact" list. Essentially just "F*** OFF!" but a liiiitle more acceptable. DNIs are usually used by people who are 12-17, and anyone older who uses a DNI is a little bitch. There, I said it.

In my personal opinion, most DNIs are immature. I'm fine with the concept, especially with things like "bigots DNI", but if you actually think:
A: a bigot will avoid you because you have it on your DNI
or
B: you're making some grand statement that wasn't already a given
You're being immature

In most online spaces I've been in (aside from maybe Reddit), it's generally assumed that you aren't a bigot. You don't have to announce "I HATE RACISM!", people will assume that because racism is a bad thing and you shouldn't be supporting it. So to put things like that on your DNI both doesn't work, and kiiinda makes you seem like you're swearing up and down "I'M NOT RACIST, SEE?! I HAVE RACISTS ON MY DNI!!!"

Then of course, theres the matter of fandoms on DNIs. It's ridiculous in my opinion. You could be missing out on the greatest friend in the world, just because they like something! And you're FINE WITH THAT?! F***ing stupid, I tell ya.
Plus, it's not... logical. Fandoms can be toxic, yes, but let's not make blanket statements about fans of a TV show, eh? My mom likes Supernatural, for example, and she's not one of the "crazy weird gross fans", she's just a woman who likes to watch a TV show.
Yes, I understand that some fandoms can be majorly populated by... rather frustrating people, but when did we stop giving people the benefit of the doubt? One bad experience with a fandom shouldn't dictate your view on the fandom, and you shouldn't be putting them on your DNI over it either.
And obviously there's the matter of "problematic creators", but look. Nobody can control what another person does. It's best to just consume the art, and ignore the artist. You aren't supporting awful awful things by engaging in a creator's work (even if they view it as such!)
Do you go into a movie theater Google searching the director's problematic past? Or do you just go in ready to see a cool movie? Yeah, nobody does the former.

But do people even obey DNIs? Honestly, no.
Bigots don't care about your DNI, they want to harass you. They will go out of their ways to do it, even!
And fundementally, "do not interact" implies you should look at EVERY SINGLE PERSON'S PROFILE before EVER INTERACTING, which... isn't how social media works. For that, maybe call it a "do not follow" list... or just don't make one!

I will respect people's DNIs, because I value other people's comfort and happiness, but jesus f***ing christ is it actually kind of immature to think these things work.
